Vintage Employment Opportunities

Ferment winemakers and cellar supervisors: To apply for a winemaking or a supervisory position you will need to have at least 4 vintages experience, excellent communication skills and be a fluent English language speaker. You will demonstrate the ability to supervise staff and have an eye for detail. Qualifications while not essential would be considered an advantage.

Cellar hands and laboratory technicians: All applicants will need at least one full vintage experience; some formal qualifications would be looked upon favourably but not considered essential. A willingness to learn and work hard as part of a team and have fun is considered paramount to the job.

During the harvest you will have the opportunity to see a wide variety of grapes processed using a range of techniques and will work with some of Marlborough's best winemakers.
Vintage positions involve 2 x 12 hour shifts as the winery runs 24 hours a day. We use new equipment in a well designed winery run by a young and dynamic team, we have a lot of fun during vintage, have a great stereo system so we can work and jive together.

We offer very competitive hourly rates, a hot meal a day during shift work and will help find you comfortable accommodation near the winery
